Switz Group is a leading bakery group in the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.

Their frozen bakery division, Switz International, based in Mumbai manufactures and distributes frozen thin dough products including their world famous samosa leaves, spring roll sheets and convenience products such as frozen donuts.

In April 2016, Switz approached MWI to explore media opportunities to promote their samosa leaves product in the lead up to Ramadan. MWI were delighted to assist Switz with a comprehensive media plan covering everything from niche press publications to TV, digital and outdoor whilst considering how best to reach their ethnic group in each media at optimum cost. Our extensive network and research tools enabled us to identify key areas with a high proportion of Asian population both on and offline. 

Opting for an outdoor campaign to support a series of ad’s in Asian trade press, Switz proceeded with Street Talk phone boxes in key Muslim areas in the UK including London, Birmingham, Bradford Leicester and Manchester to drive awareness of their products and wish their clients a happy Ramadan.  

Switz are now looking at TV and digital as a means to build on this initial campaign and further develop their foothold in the UK market..
