The Bank of China Limited is one of the five biggest state-owned banks in China
As China’s most internationalised and diversified bank, Bank of China provides a comprehensive range of financial services to customers’ across the Chinese mainland as well as 41 countries and regions.
Back in 2012, the Bank of China approached MWI to create a commemorative brochure celebrating 100 years of banking history and service for circulation in the U.K.
In addition to the bespoke publication, MWI also assisted the Bank of China on a range of press advertising in a variety of relevant publications and promoted their services via various outdoor advertising channels.
Strategy
With such an important anniversary to celebrate, it was important to set the right tone of the brochure to mark the occasion. Working closely alongside the Marketing Department at the London office of the Bank of China, we took time to tell the story and rich history of one of the world’s most iconic banks. The final collateral looks as at home on a bookshelf as a coffee table and will stand the test of time along with the passage it contains.
Results
The Bank of China were delighted with the outcome of the campaign which celebrated the bank’s longstanding history and as a means of connecting the brand to new generations of customers.
